blueNine suspected senior members of banned organisation Ekin, an alleged Euzkadi Ta Askatasuna (ETA) support group, were arrested during a wide-ranging counter-terrorism operation across the north of the country on 14 September. Seven suspects were arrested in the Basque Country and Navarre, while two others were detained in the Valencia and Cantabria regions.
