Israeli forces killed three Palestinians in the Gaza strip

Three Palestinians were killed and three others were wounded when Israeli forces fired artillery rounds at an area near Beit Hanoun in the Gaza Strip on 12 September. An Israeli military spokesperson said the shells had been fired at suspected militants who were attempting to fire a rocket-propelled grenade (RPG) at an Israeli position. Palestinian medics said two shepherds, including a 91-year-old man, were among the dead.
